Fuel Polishing System

Fluidyne’s Fuel Polishing System is a dedicated diesel fuel conditioning solution designed to maintain fuel cleanliness within the limits defined by EN 590 and ISO 4406. Diesel fuel degradation due to particulate contamination and free or emulsified water occurs due to storage tanks and directly impacts engine reliability, injector life, and fuel efficiency.

Our Fuel Polishing System continuously cleans stored diesel by circulating fuel through high-efficiency filtration and water separation stages within the same storage tank. Unlike production-line NAS filtration systems, diesel fuel polishing operates in a closed-loop mode, ensuring clean, water-free diesel.

FAQ’s

A fuel polishing system is a diesel conditioning unit that continuously circulates fuel within the same tank to remove particles and water, maintaining cleanliness as per EN 590 and ISO 4406 standards.
Fuel polishing system draws diesel from the tank, passes it through fine particle filters and water separators, and returns the cleaned fuel back to the same tank in a closed-loop process.
Key components include a circulation pump, 0.5 micron particle filters, water separators, coalescers, PLC-HMI panel for control and monitoring
Yes. A Fuel Polishing System continuously conditions diesel inside the same tank in a closed-loop cycle. A NAS filtration system or hydraulic oil filtration system operates with separate dirty oil and clean oil streams to achieve NAS cleanliness levels in hydraulic and industrial oil applications
Fuel Polishing System installations are commonly used in generator fuel tanks, marine diesel storage, industrial fuel depots, hospitals, data centers, mining equipment, and backup power applications where diesel fuel remains stored for long durations.
